Patient Rights

  • To get high quality of health care.
  • To have personal privacy.
  • To be assured of the confidentiality of patient’s information.
  • To receive care in a safe environment.
  • To be safeguarded from any form of verbal abuse by dental staff or other professionals.
  • To know the name of the attending consultant and the healthcare team.
  • To be informed about decisions regarding healthcare
  • To be treated with respect and dignity to the patient’s spiritual, cultural and philosophical beliefs.
  • To participate in the development and implementation of the patient’s treatment plan.
  • To have the patient’s family participates in treatment decisions where appropriate.
  • To have information about pain and pain relieve measures.
  • To refuse treatment or medications.
  • To ask for another medical opinion.
  • To receive the services of a translator or interpreter to facilitate the communication between the patient and the Dental Center’s healthcare professionals.
  • To complain about any aspect of the Dental Center’s services.
  • To have a unified standard of healthcare.
  • A patient over the legal age has the right to choose his companion.
  • The guardian has the right to appoint a companion for their child, provided that to give the reception staff the companion’s information.

Patient Responsibilities

  • To provide information about your medical history.
  • To treat the staff with dignity and respect.
  • To obligate attending appointments or provide notice of nonattendance in advance.
  • To actively participate in decisions regarding your healthcare.
  • To ask for clarification about any aspect of your healthcare that you do not understand.
  • To notify us of any issues that may affect your healthcare.
  • To accept the consequences and outcomes of failing to follow the recommended course of treatment or using other treatments.
  • To know that any breach of the charter, such as violence towards staff, may affect your right to be treated in the center.
  • To inform about any changes in circumstances that may impact their treatment and care.
  • To report complaints or concerns.
